Anderson Perin
Pato Branco/Paraná, Brazil 1976 - 2025 Graduated in Architecture and Urban Planning from the Tuiuti University of Paraná, Curitiba/Paraná, in 2004. During the course, the History of Arts classes favored contact with the works of some artists who, together with the philosophical thought of Friederich Nietzsche, influence their artistic expression. He worked as an architect until 2022 when, after 14 years in a real estate development company, he had a professional breakdown. He is self-taught in the world of painting. He began his career in August 2021, during a personal crisis. His works seek to represent human feelings, not only those of the artist, but of everyone, which is done through an abstract representation.

The series Cores em Cores: Sonhos! represents an investigation into color perception as a sensory and psychological experience, where color is not just a visual element but a catalyst for emotions and meanings. Each canvas is constructed through an interaction between chaos and order, where the painterly gesture manifests in splashes, drips, and layered pigments, creating depth and movement.
In Doa-se um Coração Maltratado, Perin pushes his research beyond traditional painting by incorporating materials such as cardboard, gauze, and adhesive tape, giving a sense of vulnerability and suffering. The artwork becomes a metaphor for a wounded heart, exploring human fragility through a layered and powerful aesthetic.
Perin’s poetics reflect on the energy of color, the spontaneity of gesture, and the ability of art to convey deep and universal emotions, transforming the canvas into a field of visual and existential tensions.
