For the last 25 years I have been involved in creative industries, starting with my work in stock photography for Telegraph Colour Library and later Getty Images. I then created my own photography business specialising in portraiture, wedding and event photography and more recently fine art and abstract photography.
My first love has always been art, and in 2019 I completed my art history degree. Since finishing my degree, I have volunteered in a local gallery/museum – the Watts Gallery, and have also written a monthly blog for the De Morgan Collection.
Abstract art has always appealed to me because of its diversity and the fact it is so open to interpretation. Every viewer has their own experience, emotions and interpretation when viewing abstract art, and I believe this is what makes it so unique.
I’m also fluent in German and I am currently learning Norwegian.
Based in Paris, France, I´m an artist, editor and curator, with experience in one of the most important museums in Europe (Picasso's Museum of Barcelona), where I have worked in the publishing department and as an investigator. My time there has given me an insightful overview on today´s art scene and the new upcoming technologies that are present today for curatorial practices.
I have a bachelor's degree in contemporary art and two master's degrees, one in publishing from the Autonomous university of Barcelona and one in curatorial studies from EINA. I have also worked several years in art education, reinforcing my pedagogical skills alongside artistic workshops.
I thoroughly believe a curator must understand its important role and responsibility as it conveys and exposes a culture and/or artist. We as a society have to recognize culture and art as a collective source of economic richness that converts us into more critical people, enriching us spiritually and visually.
